“Christianity Then and Now”

Eight Bi-Weekly Zoom Meetings September-December

What—exactly and in depth—is “Christianity” as a religion? How has it grown, flourished, and evolved, and is now approaching possibly terminal decline in our secular culture? What, if anything, might be done to help save it?

For each meeting we shall read and discuss with their author chapters of a short (44-pp.) booklet, Christianity Then and Now, by fellow parishioner and historian George McCully. Participants may attend any number of meetings. The booklet is a PDF document, freely downloadable HERE. (See below for introduction and overview*.)

As part of our “Dover Unplugged” community outreach “Caring” series, meetings are open to the public, who are cordially invited to join us.

If you are interested in joining, please reply to [email protected] by Monday, August 26th with your preferred evening(s) of the week to meet. Sessions will begin the week of September 23rd.
