Welcome to Saint Dunstan's Church Minimize

Saint Dunstans ChurchWe invite you to worship with us this Sunday, May 11, Whitsunday, the Day of Pentecost, when we will offer a service of Holy Eucharist, Rite I at 8:00 o'clock and a service of Holy Baptism and Eucharist, with choir, at 10:00 o'clock.

The preacher will be the rector, his sermon is titled "Another Quarter Heard From."  The choir will sing "Ev'ry Time I Feel the Spirit" arranged by William Dawson. Childcare is provided for the 10:00 o'clock service and our building is accessible.

Saint Dunstan's Church is a community joined by prayer and fellowship,
nourished by the riches of worship, and eager to serve as God calls.
In all that we do, we trust that God will give us the gifts we need when we need them.

Our mission is
to learn those things that will make us more able ministers of Christ,
to serve the world in Christ's name,
to grow in the knowledge and love of Christ.

Second Saturday at the Monastery
Dunstan—the tenth-century saint from whom our parish takes its name—began his life in the faith as a hermit at Glastonbury Abbey in England, and later in his life led a monastic community living under the Benedictine rule. To honor this fact of our namesake’s life—and to provide a different kind of church experience—anyone interested is welcome to join in attending the early Eucharist service on the second Saturday of each month at the Society of Saint John the Evangelist, an Episcopal community of monks in Cambridge. We will leave from the church parking lot at 6:45 a.m.; the service begins at 7:45 a.m. and typically lasts thirty-five minutes. Those not pressed to go immediately on to the schedule of the day will join for breakfast following the service.
Red Door Gallery and Cottage Paperwork for 2008
The paperwork for this year's Red Door Gallery and Cottage will be available the week of May 7. Please follow the Red Door Gallery link on the left for paperwork.

Saint Dunstan's Day!
Our patron saint, Dunstan, has his feast day on May 19. We will observe this happy occasion with a parish gathering reminiscent of last years "Founder's Day."
On Sunday, May 18,  we will offer the 8:00 o'clock Holy Eucharist service and then celebrate with a special Choral Evensong service at 4:30 p.m., followed by a light collation in Fellowship Hall.
