Dover Days
Much of our Outreach activity is geared to share the many blessings we have received with those who are facing difficult circumstances.

A Place to Turn
For several years, we have actively supported A Place to Turn, the food pantry in Natick.

Throughout the year a team of drivers delivered 168 bags of groceries generously donated by parishioners each Sunday.

At Thanksgiving, one woman of the parish organized our most successful “Pies and Pickles” drive ever. 32 families participated, contributing 41 pies and 145 cans or jars of pickles or olives to A Place to Turn. They made the holiday special for some Metro West neighbors who are in tight circumstances.

Finally, members of our middle school youth group spent an evening in December at A Place to Turn helping carry and sort and stack food donations from the recent Boy Scout food drive.

The Women’s Lunch Place
The finale of our year is the amazing outpouring of generosity that is Adopt a Family. In 2008, 26 St. Dunstan’s families teamed up to provide the makings of Christmas dinners as well as personalized gifts to 14 families of the Women’s Lunch Place. This long-time tradition at St. Dunstan’s speaks to our spirit of giving and is so appreciated by these families who otherwise would have a very meager holiday.
