St. Dunstan’s Outreach Committee invites you to celebrate Valentine’s Day with the guests of the Women’s Lunch Place.

As the weather continues to chill in February, we hope to collect hats, scarves and mittens/gloves for the homeless and poor women in Boston that the Women’s Lunch Place serves and present them as Valentine’s Day gifts.  Located in Boston’s Back Bay, the Women’s Lunch Place welcomes all self-identifying women with open arms and unconditional support.  It is a safe day community for women who are experiencing homelessness or poverty.  The WLP strives to meet guests’most basic needs with nutritious meals while coordinating and delivering critical support services designed to help women achieve greater stability and self-sufficiency whenever possible.

St. Dunstan’s has supported this organization in different ways for over 20 years.  This year we hope to collect a total of 200 hats, scarves or mittens/gloves to present the guests Valentine’s Day.  Receptacles will be placed in the narthex and the side entrance of the church.  Delivery will be February 13th.  Thank you for whatever you can contribute to this Outreach effort.
