Dover Unplugged: Groundhog Day Dinner and a Movie

St. Dunstan’s Welcomes All for Free Dinner and A Movie on February 2

St. Dunstan’s kicks off its Dover Unplugged series with a family-friendly community movie night on Friday, February 2, at 6:30 p.m. All are invited for dinner and a screening of the movie Groundhog Day – on Groundhog Day! This PG-rated movie shows how every day is filled with untapped potential.

Pizza, salads and dessert will be served at 6:30 p.m. before the movie;  popcorn will accompany the main feature, which begins at 7:15 p.m. The event will take place in Fellowship Hall at St. Dunstan’s (18 Springdale Avenue). Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets, sleeping bags and pillows to get comfy for the show.

This is a free event. St. Dunstan’s always welcomes support of its outreach ministries to support those in need, and if desired, one may bring a box of cereal or jar of peanut butter to be donated to A Place to Turn food pantry in Natick (http://www.aplacetoturn-natick.org).

Please register for for this event so that there is enough pizza and popcorn!

About Dover Unplugged:

St. Dunstan’s Episcopal Church launched Dover Unplugged in response to seeing a need for people in Dover to have more opportunities for face-to-face interactions and time to just simply connect with one another. The community-focused series is held on the first Wednesday or Friday of each month, alternating between an event and a lecturer and discussion. Designed for the entire community, these free events provide a chance for people in Dover and surrounding towns to put down their devices and enjoy the company of friends and neighbors. Dover Unplugged events are held in Fellowship Hall at St. Dunstan’s Episcopal Church, 18 Springdale Avenue, Dover. Events are free to all. St. Dunstan’s always welcomes support of its outreach ministries to support those in need and will designate an optional suggested donation for each event; occasionally the suggestion may be to help cover costs of the events but is always optional.
