Welcome to St. Dunstan's Episcopal Church in Dover, Massachusetts

Season of Lent: Freedom found in the wilderness

 Sunday, March 14: Join us for MorningPrayer w/ Holy Eucharist at 8:00 a.m. or for Morning Prayer w/ Holy Eucharist and choir at 10:00 a.m.

Our Lenten Study are open to all on Sundays at 9:00 a.m.(nurserycare provided) and continues every Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. with soup and bread provided.

All are welcome to atttend one or all sessions. Our guide for the journey is Martin L. Smith's book  A Season for the Spirit, which is available in the church office. Donations for the cost of the book ($11.20) are most welcome

 Church school: Class resumes on MArch 28 and will begin at 9:45 a.m. with Rev. Mark in the church on the rug for a short teaching and continues downstairs from 10:00 a.m. All children join us for Eucharistic Prayer upstairs.

Coffee Hour follows the 10:00 a.m. service, please join us if you can.

Nursery care is provided for infants and toddlers at the 10:00 a.m. service and our building is handicap accessible (please use side entry door - where our lift is).

Parking is available in our parking lot, along our drive way and on the side street(s).

March 26-27: Pre-confirmation retreat at Barbara Harris Camp and Conference Center

March 28: Palm Sunday, 8:00 and 9:45 a.m.  Blessing of the Palms. 8:00 a.m.  Holy Eucharist. 10:00 a.m. Holy Eucharist with guest preacher, Rev. John Finley. 11:00 a.m. Epiphany Art Show Reception

March 29, 30, & 31: 7:30 p.m.  Meditation followd by Compline.

April 1: Maundy Thursday  6:00 p.m. Supper. Nursery care provided. 7:30 p.m. Liturgy

Staying Awake with Christ: From 9:00 p.m. Thursday eveing until 12 Noon on Friday. Please see sign-up sheet in Fellowship Hall or contact the office.

April 2: Good Friday  12 Noon  Adult Liturgy. TBA, Family Service with Stations of the Cross.

April 3: Holy Saturday  7:00 p.m.  Easter Vigil with Baptism and Organ. Nursery care.

April 4: Easter Sunday  TBA  Sunrise Service. 8:00 a.m.  Holy Euicharist with Organ.    10:00 a.m.  Holy Eucharist with Choir and Brass.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 


  
 St. Dunstan's New Rector is here! Minimize

The Rev. Mark McKone-Sweet was called to St Dunstan’s with a unanimous vote at a special parish meeting on All Saints’ Day, November 1st, 2009. Jim Nail, Senior Warden, states “I don’t think I would be exaggerating to say that not only was the vote unanimous, but also enthusiastic and vociferous!”

Mark’s first Sunday was December 14, 2009. Several families are hosting "meet the Rector coffee's in later Janaury and February. Please call the office.
